Those are really cool. I especially like the inline 6 w/ all them pipes. Be pretty easy to do also. ***le it as a 9n and put farm plates on it. Cheap insurance, too.

Rear tires oughta be changed to something like 7.50X16 snow tires or some sort of off-road looking truck skin to add some tractor flavor back there...and maybe some of those clam-shell looking fenders that cover only the back of the tire...

I've had that same drawing saved for a while now with the idea of building one around grandpa's old flathead 4. I'm a slow moving, overextended hack, but even I can find hundreds of cool possibilities while I'm wandering around the farm.

I wouldn't mind building a buck for body fab. I would just need frame info.

I remember those! Very cool still. Surely someone will build them now that Plowboy has gotten everyone's creative juices flowing. It would be a cool look on a regular chopped down model A roadster too.

Who did these? Does anyone remember?

I bet the officer will be confused when he writes a ticket for 85 in a 55 to a John Deer tractor.

Do you get to run farm implement plates and use the
    cheap gas?

Early mock up of my old modified. Case shell. Didn't make the final cut but I liked the way it looked.

someone take the nose from the first one, put stud. headlights up a little high, maybe even even with the top of the grill, and put it on the bottom car inline 6 and boattail.

Big sticky tires in the rear and straight axle front end with narrow tires :

A little slow through the traps but with the available traction it will easily "Walk the ring gear" - If you don't know what that means you haven't experienced the site of staring over the hood at the clouds!.

PS. It's not a Ford, Henry tried to rip Harry off and this was his revenge.

I never get tired of that illustration. I fully intend to have a fenderless A roadster with a Farmall grille someday, I just need to get to a farm show! I p***ed on a Model M grille for $25 on eBay because shipping was too much, but I will have one... much as I love the Deuce grille, how can you p*** up something designed by Raymond Loewy?

My father-in-law has two, a Loewy Farmall and I think a Dreyfuss John Deere, but I also think that he'd probably murder me if I cut one up.

OK, so I guess I never paid much attention to tractors.
What model tractor are those drawings based on?

    thanks,
