Since I do most of my posting at the JockeyJournal (thanks again Ryan), I thought maybe someone around the HAMB would enjoy a pic of my latest UglyOIF.....almost done....just need some sunny Michigan weather and I'll be set!!!!
I don't really know **** about these bikes so forgive me if this a stupid question but what are those finned exhaust clamp things off of? They're perfectly proportioned and they really make the bike for me. Nice work.
They are an old chopper accessory....I agree, they look perfect on certain bikes. Wish I could find a few more.
Thanks.....are you still teaching the "Advanced Hoarder 202" at Traverse City Junior College????......have you found any junk triumphs lately?
Very slick looking bike! But it must be a doctored photo...where's the oil spot?!? I miss my road bikes, some day again, some day again....
thats BEAUTIFUL, clean n simple.... i miss seein some of bikes on the hamb, seems like there sightings on the hamb are slim since the jockey journal....wich makes since, i dont get over there much...not enough hours in the day, between hot rods, bikes, computer and then were expected to show up for a job just mumblin,,,keep up the good work
Heres mine at the Donnie Smith bike show in Rochester Mn. Parked between two $25,000 Harleys. 1966 honda CB 450, chopped in 1970. Still going strong.
Looking good! I like the pipes and the wheel/tire sizes,,,and the handles bars aren't too ****in tall! Is that a BSA tank or did Triumph put a center mount bolt on some of them when I wasn't paying attention?
The bike is a 1972, (which had the oil tank in the frame backbone).....and a thru bolt to hold the gas tank on. Most people think the 71 and newer triumphs (OIF)were ugly....I think they make an inexpensive start to something cool....thanks for the compliment, proportions are important to me. Very nice look, great stance! Not having the pre-OIF oil tank really makes it clean lines. What color will it be? I didn't realize the HAMB had a bike contingent, let alone a bunch of Limey bike guys?? That's great! I've got a project '69 Bonnie in my garage, waiting for completion of the '52 F-1. Where is the Jockey Journal?
I think owning Triumphs is gay Especially when their red and sparkley........ Missin that 15 dergree weather and snow fom last weekend......Not At least its raining and in the 50's here......... Tell me when to come get the blue Trump........I am waiting Shoe Ps you know I think the bike looks good I told you in person......
Come and get it....only now it's green...I switched the sheet metal yesterday......so, the blue stuff "needs some ***embly"
Looking good..... we have had really nice weather for the last few days here, I've been out riding every chance I get...
That was for dirt tracking....the right shift/left brake... Send those bikes over to me...All I ride are old Sporsters and Triumphs... I should get back to restoring my OIF 1973 Triumph Tiger 750...
