I belive I might have compression bleeding into my colling systen. Can it be a craked head if there is no water in the oil? Anyone ever have this problem? Any suggestions?

You usually only get water in the oil if you have a crack or blown gasket where it's open to the crank case. if the head gasket blows from a coolant passage into a cylinder it blows coolant into the cylider and exhaust back into the cooling system. If the water is getting into the oil it could be a cracked block or an "older style" V8 or an inline engine that has rocker arms on a shaft and an oil passage going through the block into the head and the gasket also blew between the water jacket and the oil passage.
What kind of engine are YOU talking about?

The thing was fine durring cam break-in but after we tried moving the car to do some welding it started pissing coolant
out the cap and the hoses were all expanded. as if overheated but the fluid was cold.

Sounds like a bad head gasket. had trouble with a 351W doing the same thing. Fords suck.

hoping the same thing. we have 1500 dollars wrapped up in the heads (cast Iron Gt/police intercepter) alone. High compression pistons and small cc kidney bean chambers she's a monster.would hate for it to be junk.

Is there a thermostat installed? If so, try pulling it and see if the problem goes away. Recently a friend's car AND mine had stats go bad in the same week.

I just thought of something. Park the car on a hill facing down with the cap off and let it run a while.

Sometimes they get an air pocket in the cooling system and will cause higher pressure. You said it a newly installed motor?

GO to your local NAPA store and they should have a test kit for checking for combustion gasses in the anti-freeze/coolant. Check and be sure, easier than doing a gasket job and not solving the problem.

There is a kit you may be able to rent that allows you to pressurize the system and then you could use a bore scope to look inside the combustion chamber through the spark plug hole and look for leaks inside. Lot of work but still less than pulling a set of heads.

The theromostat may be the problem, had the same reaction to a couple of engines around here and both turned out to be bad thermostats.
