Features took a break from 40's-got the fuely out

Love your car, but I bet that it didn't come with "dog dish" hubcaps when it was new. I was there; the guys I knew didn't get into that until the 409 Biscaynes. I remember reading in "Hot Rod" magazine in 1958 that one of these ran a 14.34 quarter.

 

THX all. Hey Bob not too old yet-still can push in the clutch. As to the small caps-this car came with full discs but I didn't like em but I was there too-had a 57 Pontiac in 59 with reversed wheels and 58 Pontiac dog dish caps-had to pop em off at the drags

 

OK break is over--wife and I fired the current 40 today and broke in the cam, etc-musta been 120+ in the garage after running the 40 for 20 minutes

 

Take the wife and the 57 to Sac Raceway on Friday and let her run it again.................

 

Was the, for the lack of the proper nomenclature, "Ram air hose" going to the radiator support part of the stock Fuelie package?

What is the silver color thing next to the horn?

I think you've finished two or three 40's in the time I've spent trying to complete my one, and I'm not finished yet! And now you bring out this fuelie - I think that's called piling on. If I appear to be jealous its because I am. Congrats on some very nice cars.
