A little history on me and my baby first. It's a 59 Caddy Coupe de Ville that I bought for $800 a litttle after my 18th birthday, non running rusty fuckin tank. After about $800 more I got it running, and subsequently got a piece of cactus in my eye(pack rats) and covered in fiberglass (fan). So out of fear it sat for a bit.
Well 2 days ago me and my buddy decided it was gonna move, so we take the gallon gas tank and fuel line and put them in the front of the radiator. Put the battery in the homemade battery tray and fired the bitch up. One half assed muffler and one straight manifold [IMG] [IMG].
I let it idle some and put it low gear and gave it some gas, moved it for 20 feet, used the e-brake and shut it off. I now know it has a bad carrier bearing, but has reverse and drive. Now what's left is brakes, installation of the gas tank, and fine tuning. Feels mighty good [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG]
