Bought a 30 Model A last week. It din't run for a couple of years I gess. I changed the oil, new battery and cleaned the points. She stated right up! It's my first drive in an all original A. It's quite the power house!
It looks like one of the cars in a "John Dillinger" movie I was watching the other night.... All you need now is a couple of Chicago typewriters in the back seat and a model 1911 .45 cal auto on the passenger seat... Next thing you'll know, you'll be robbin' banks!
cool (in more ways than one)-now time for chopping/sectioning/swapping drive train-or preserve one so that we can remember what they did look and feel like.
What's the plan? I'd go for juice brakes and few mods to the banger and some 17 inch wires off a 32, then just drive on!
