Finally ready to go, Fudpuckers daughter actully drove her tee for the first time yesterday put 2 1/2 miles on her, first time on the road. Will load her up tonight with all our junk in yblockcruiser's covered trailer and hit the road south tomorrow morning. My 50 shoe is ready and so is fudpuckers 58, weather could suck but really don't give a shit! We're heading south!

cold start to the day. 45 degrees and 75 mph down the interstate in a roadster = cold, even with the top up! brrr Going through Belleville, KS right now and it's 56 deg. Meeting up with NoSurf Jay for lunch soon in Salina.

 

Just think, by tomorrow at this time you'll be in Austin and it'll be 85 degrees, sunny and you'll be eating BBQ. Those thoughts should warm you up.

Anyone coming in on any of the Innerstate Highways watch out, every little town and city have their Motorcycle Cops and Patrol cars out on the innerstate giving tickets as fast as they can write them, Sales tax revenue is way down and they need the money to fund the cities. On I 35 the speed limit is 65 from just above Georgetown all the way to Austin, watch out in Austin it drops to 60 at Pamer Lane and they give lots of tickets in that area. Watch out for Georgetown and Round Rock, each have motorcycle cops and cars out on the Innerstate to write tickets, it is not about safety but revenue.

 

Just miss Denise, after much hoping and rearranging it doesn't look like I'm gonna make it either, just too much going on in life outside of hot rods.

So now I'm going to log off the HAMB and not return until the LSRU hype has died down, I just can't stand to read it boohoo

You can't, you have to man the HAMB Helper Pages AND the HAMB for "Man down, Man down" distress calls from folks on the road. I'm emailing it to you right now.

Also, I'll have the list with me so besides the 3 hours ont he plane, if anyone needs help on the road, just call my cell 734-673-6930 or post on the HAMB and we'll get you a few phone numbers of HAMB folks near you that can help out.
