Hot Rods Top model A

    I have a 1929 model a roadster (hot rod)it is a fibergl*** car,that the top is worn thru,I have owned the car since 1998 and the top was on the car,where can get it repaired or replaced.I have checked with upholstery shops,but so far no luck. I am in San Jose Cali. Thanks all

    Without seeing it I would try finding a boat canvas top/cover/upholstery company. I would think there are plenty in California. They may be able to take apart what is left of the current top to use for patterns saving considerably on cost. They should be able to get just about any material you would like.

    That should be a no brainer for any decent trimmer. He already has a pattern. Car looks good from what we can see from your pictures.

    There’s a fella here in Sac area that specializes in antique auto upholstery. He is putting a top on my ‘15 touring right now. Aninno’s Upholstery in Rancho Cordova. Great guy does nice work and understands how old cars are built. PM me for his number
