The only thing better than a road trip on a motorcycle is a road trip in a Roadster!
    (hence, the name)

One advantage to touring on my 04 ST 1300 is that I have a fully waterproof jacket and pants as well as waterproof boots and gloves.
Modern motorcycle gear is all weather gear.
Along with a full face helmet I am far better geared up for a trip that could bring foul weather than I would be in my roadster. :)

  3. Roadsters for life! I'll take a roadster with no top over a coupe or a motorcycle with rain gear anyday! 1469579466265.jpg 1469579484924.jpg

I've never used a rain suit... I don't know what a ST 1300 is, I was on my trusty '69 Electra Glide with no helmet, no windshield heading back from South Dakota. Got caught in a downpour in '92 that began at the Minnesota border and didn't let up until I hit Beloit, WI... I was soaked, but kept jammin'. That's the way it was, right or wrong.

I'm not talking about a rainsuit.
My textile riding jacket (Olympia) and my Firstgear pants are fully breathable and waterproof.
    No need for a rainsuit.
An ST 1300 Honda is a 1300 cc V4 fuel injected sport touring bullet :D

    Loads of fun.
I'm thinking that my RPU will also be a blast.

No interest in Jap crotch rockets, but that Roadster Pick up looks really cool!
