    If your clutch disk is laying on the pressure plate and none of the pressure plate is exposed It just means that you found a disk that is the same diameter as the pressure plate where in the photo above he may be using an 11 inch disk on a 12 inch pressure plate or something similar.
    We mix and match pieces to get the job done and not everyone ends up with identical pieces but they still get the job done.

    If you want to use a T5 try Modern drive line his adapters are under $200.

    this is the last of the top loaders with an overdrive 4th gear - should be a bolt in with the early bellhousing.....here with the Ford van shifter - from the late 70's.... IMG_20150314_114617.jpg

    I've always heard how weak these trans were . I put one behind a built FE in my grandson F100 And it's held up well. A 17 year old will try it out.
