Anyone know about torker manifold 2725 for small block chev? looks like it might work well on the street.

They're ok, but they are more of a high rpm intake. There are better options for a daily driver.

That said, I run them on both of my small blocks. But I'm a lead foot.

Yes, I ran one years ago on a very mild SBC in a '63 Impala wagon. Nice throttle response. It may give up some on the low RPM range. The runners look beachin' too. Now FNG, introduce your self proper like and remember, this forum is a stickler to the '64 and older rides. Don't drop the soap!

Now all you need is a Holley 650 DP carb for it... :D

I ran one on a 400 small block with a Holley 650 for many years. Ran a 1" open spacer under the carb. Had good throttle response and seemed to have plenty of power. Definitely better than the Quadrajet and factory iron manifold I took off. Still have that engine sitting in the shop floor. May find a home in my '51.

Are you running the torker, or the torker II? The torker II isn't worth the aluminum it was cast with. The original torker was decent for it's time.
