What are you into? Always something going on around town.

Where are you staying? and are you driving or taking transit?
That could change how far you venture across the city.

  5. You know this from experience?

Royal R&K, can you narrow it down a bit? What are you into, where you going to be? You young or older?

Toronto is a BIG city. There's a TON of good restaurants & bars; not a huge car scene. There are some swaps in the area, not sure if anything is happening this weekend.

If you're into live music, check out the Horseshoe Tavern, The Rex or The Dakota Tavern.

That's Church St, Dundas to Bloor-ish, and it's actually quite nice there. Homophobia aside. Yonge St is okay. Queen St heading west from Yonge has some good shopping for the missus.

Not much by way of hot-rodding, but some fantastic restaurants down that way. Good blues/jazz/rock clubs too.

  7. No! I found out by fuckin' accident 20+ years ago.

That's what happens when you go down a side street you've never been down before.

Then all the locals warned me. Fine fuckin' time to find out!

Shit I thought that whole area was full of partiers and collage students. Boy was I wrong!

  9. Yeah, something about Jarvis Street rings a bell. I think it was the street that the "House of Lords" is/was on the corner of.

There you go, you wanna see some sites? Check out the characters that hang out side of the House of Lords. :D

We can't forget The Cadillac Lounge either!
A little west but only a 10 min walk from my place.

  14. Too bad the Gasworks wasn't still around. Some of the best damn original music around.

I'm puzzled by this homophobic response; don't gays improve the odds for the straight guys? By the way why are you going to TO? Was it that or jail? LOL

Grumbler, The Elmo is getting brought back from the dead and being given it's history back as we speak! Great venue!
