Torque converter removal!

Morning!
Not being an automatic kind of guy, I have a question
how do you remove the torque converter off a Ford C4
tranny!

should just pull off the splines as far as i know!

C4 explosives will blow it right off...

 

Yeah just grab it and yank it out of there.

 

If that is the tranny it's not a C4 it is Ford Aod trans.

 

either way..the thing pulls out.

 

Yup, they're all correct.

Step 1--get a C4 transmission.

Step 2--pull the converter out

 

Unless the front pump bushing is seized the the converter hub/neck due to a front seal leak and a loss of fluid.

Keep your fingers crossed that this is not the case. Give it a good yank.
