Hot Rods Torque converter

I have a 777b solid lift cam, isky says power is 3000 to 6000 but recommend a 2500 stall with 373 gear, I’ve been reading you need 500 rpm stall higher than the low power band no. Somebody help me understand this topic better

 

I'd go by what isky recommended, they should know their cam requirements....

To me that 2500 should be about right.

P.S. if racing that 2500 will probably flash around 3000
