Am restoring an A rpu with a 57/283 and a 57 Dual Range hydro. Both out of a 57 Chev pickup. Need torque settings for the following: Torque on 6 bolts from flywheel to crank
Torque on 18 bolts converter to flywheel.
I don’t have a book old enuf to find what I need. Any help would be great appreciated

Google "SBC Torque Settings". Google is your friend.

If Mr. Google or someone else doesn't come through I'll check my Motors Manual in the shop tomorrow for you.

As usual Jim comes through with what you need and as usual in record time.

I use a standard torque table for most. Aftermarket rods are the exception.
