Technical Torque Tube question

    Does anyone know if an early (Model A 1931?) torque tube will mate up to a later (42-48) differential assembly? I have a short torque tube rear in a Model A Rat rod with bad rear end gears & bearings and a hopefully good 42-48 complete assembly with a long torque tube.
