torsion bar lowering question...55 packard.

    a friend of mine has a 55 packard with torsion all around. how low can you lower it by cranking down the bars?...thanks,mike
     
  2. It is a self leveling system. There is an electric motor on each bar. I suppose you could by-pass the electrics and manually turn them. They sit pretty high to begin with so it's not gonna be on the ground plus then you gonna really piss off the Packard restorers around here.

    lol...thanks, is there any other way to lower it then cranking down the bars?
