Guys: Got a pint or so of my single stage enamel for my car. Can someone tell me what to buy and mix with it so I can make some touch up paint for small chips? Thanks alot.
If it's enamel then you can reduce it with "Reducers" even the urethane reducer will work. But don't use Lacquer thinners as it will turn the enamel to lumps. Don't use varsol or mineral spirits as it won't mix with the enamel. The Old TInbasher
When I do "critical touch-ups", I like to soften the edges and general area with 1000 grit-wet. Mix the paint a little on the thick side, so it only flows out slightly, then dab it into the crater to form a tiny hill. After the paint is very dry, go back over the fills with 1000 grit wet to knock down the highs, compound and polish. Be sure the shake and stir the paint beyond thoroughly!
