Here are a couple shots of the touring. bodywork is done on the SwissCheez frame, getting ready to spread mud on the body, just a little more tinwork.
I love it when someone actually builds something that looks DIFFERENT frome all the rest! Looking GOOD!
Thanks guys. In a weeks time I hope to have all the bodywork roughed in and the body primered. After that, the frame goes blue and the running gear goes pewter. The plan then goes to the motor rebuild and getting the ch***is plumbed. It will be a busy spring.
I should have been taking notes. You must have told us,but I forget. What are you running for steering?
Early GM Box, cowl steering like SoWhat did. Thanks Tom, minor setbacks this weekend. I REALLY need better front doors!!!!!
More time now that I am home. Tom, man, I am SOOOO behind my time frame! I am at least a month behind the plan. Many things conspired against me, not for lack of trying. I am back on track but really need to either save my front doors or come up with with a better set. Unk, My setup is just like Sowhats and that PU that those guys built (scarylarry?) I posted pics before and can repost them if needed.
Lookin good, Tman. But I guess since you are complaining about being behind schedule I can enlist my help. Completely forgot that it is Easter. I'll be there on Wed. for a week. Can't wait to check the T out... Oh, and the PBR can is a nice addition on the body, I see why you are behind schedule ...
are you gonna go SIGHT SEEING in that? Like Crazy Horse and mount Rushmore and WALL DRUG??? If you go camping remember to bring quarters for the shower so you think yer ready to fill? with Minnesota Mud (TM) i would use canadian clay, it doesnt shrink as bad. Work On mofo Tuck
