Technical Towel City Tires-they recapp piecrust slicks

Discussion in 'Traditional Hot Rods' started by Von Hartmann, Nov 16, 2007.

  1. Do they carry skinny 15 fronts?

I've got a pair of 15x4s with dryrotted front runners and looking for a safe alternative to vintage rubber.

I used a pair of Towel City WWW Cheater Slicks on a roadster several years ago. They needed a little more weight to balance vs treaded tires of the same size.

Only complaint I had was the white walls stained and would not come clean. All in all, I was happy with the performance. I would buy black walls next time.

I am super happy with my towel city tires would reccomend them to anyone I've driven about 2000 miles this summer not to mention all the drag racing and smoky burnouts they seem to be wearing real good too as far as hooking up they hooked good enough that I broke both axles in my quickchange at the hamb drags this year lol here is a pic of them on my truck
