The only good run I made was during an untimed Flag Start run...........hopefully we'll have some times this weekend.
    Thanks Chris1
Myself and the clutch builder can't agree...........but now I'm getting what I originally asked for......Metallic/ceramic lined discs and more spring (DIA) psi. The Kevlar got soft, and I dont care what they say if the clutch is what they say it should of broke the Ford 3spd (Hi gear only), IMHO!
    Thanks Lorodz!
    HeHeHe
I really Dunno.........I never looked beyond the General Safety Rules.
Gonna have to deal with it I guess KING :(

Sounds like your going in the right direction with the clutch, I agree with you there are weaker links on the car other than the clutch, do you have pics of the damage if so email me some pics timjones@hughes.net thanks Tim

No Tim, I was in such a hurry to get it shipped I didn't. Just picture "melted" Kevlar............I'm sure it was the "GLUE" that was melted.

Thanks Guys............Clutch is in the TWIN and everything is together............READY to give the Historic Eagle Field Runway it's best! Come on out and see IMHO the best TRUstalgia Drag Racing anywhere at the Eagle Field Fresno Dragways Reunion this Saturday. Then on Sunday we get a little contemporary, adding a Christmas Tree. See eaglefielddrags.com for more info.

With Eagle Field having the traction of a parking lot all SHOULD be well :D

2 weeks after the fact and I'm finally cathing up :D Here is the only photo of the TWIN on the Eagle Field Runway and notice it's missing something........she sheared the input when I dropped the hammer. No problem, only a little setback but unfortunately the expenses to get the drivetrain figured out will keep me close to home this summer. I apoligize but I won't be able to make any trips other than Billetproof WA and maybe the Texas State Championships in October. There is always next year!

That's a great idea, I'm thinking of having Lenco build a direct drive shaft with the 1 3/8" and just be done with it:)

If you have Lenco make a direct drive shaft, have it made with a 1 7/8" shaft like the fuel cars use, it should never ever break again.
