    Very cool guys thanks for all the info and photos. Toyota hemi may not be traditional but a 4cyl hemi ,the cool factor is off the chart!!!!

    Mine made very good HP and weighed nothing! Is a model 5V, 240 cu inch(4 litre) motor with many mod's, 4/71 blower, 5 speed

    That actually sounds pretty cool, although instead of a zoomie, I would be inclined to go with a header more along the lines of what you would see on a fifties offy. It would make better power as well. And a long, shallow taper meg down the pass. side of the car.

    I have heard an unconfirmed story that Toyota got an aluminum 417 Donovan to copy and downsized it.

    Toyota's weren't traditional hot rods when this was posted in 2009, and still aren't.
