I was expecting a turbod 2jz mill... That would be really cool in a track inspired rod.. I'd love to build something around a 2jz or an SR20, or a Mazda rotory.. or the F20C Honda VTEC from the S2000's.. those are all some really fun, and hot mills...
I have an 88 jag that I'd like to gut like a fish and put the workins into something. Cookie cutter aint it. I have a friend who put a toyota motor in his T-bucket and loves it. Drives the thing everywhere. He says it really took the "scary" out and put the "driver" in.

when the prius cameout (pun intended ) i wondered who was gonna be the first to cram a big block into one of them, still yet to see it. would love to see the tree huggers faces when they stroke-out over a sub-10 mpg prius.
Toyota Motor Corporation's V family of engines were a longitudinally mounted V8 engine design. They were used from the 1960s through the 1990s. The V family engine was used in the prestigious Toyota Century. The V Family is often referred to as the Toyota Hemi as the engine features a similar cylinder head design to those found on the Chrysler's Hemi, even though most of the engine design is completely different. Long time automotive writer and author of several books on traditional hot rods, Don Prieto, built a Lexis powered deuce roadster.
Good for him... I bet THAT was a low buck build. Just because you CAN build it doesn't mean you should... witness this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDU5BU_qSJU
Nope, it wasn't. Actually the guy that built the Lexus powered '32 that's seen at the LBC, did it in his garage. Millin may have helped in some machine work, but Corporate Built... Not Even Close.... if it were corporate sponsored it would have paint on it! BYC
Man, I don't think you can improve a Prius no matter what you do. Put a Hemi in one of these and NOW you're talkin.
