I have a late 70's I believe toyota truck manual steering box in real nice shape. I've seen on here it mentioned that they make a good box for traditional steering and that is why I picked it up. Does anyone know off hand the spline count on the steering shaft? I have 3 or 4 splined universals and none of them fit and I'd have to get someone that can see better than me to count them.

Mike, take a picture with your phone and blow it up. I suffer from CSS as well. The phone helps all the time. Mike

You didn't say what model box you have, so this info may not be what you need, but the FJ series boxes of that vintage are 11/16"-36 spline. But check yours. Borgeson has joints for the 11/16"-36 spline.

Thanks, don't know why but I didn't think of using my phone. Brain fart moment I guess.
