Track nose and lower the header

  2. I agree.
At a quick first glnce I thought it was a Volkswagen (sorry).
Stick with the 32 grille, it looks a whole lot better.
Same thing I like track noses but they have to be in proportion to the car.
Angling the header down would look a lot better too.

  3. The track nose would be better if you made one out of steel or aluminum, not cardboard.

I am confident YOU will get the proportions right.

Could go either way with the nose, but the Gabriel's Trumpet header, I think, takes away from the overall look of the car.

I'll agree the track nose makes it look a little stubby. Less rake would help but the chassis is done. I am at the point of no return now. I'll also agree that the top looks better with the Deuce shell. I guess if I want a car with a track nose it should be a 29 or earlier. I thought maybe with the Z'ed frame I could work the nose there, but the 32 cowl is just tall and wide.

  9. Come on Steve! Don't let the ney-sayers talk you out of it. If anyone can make the proportions work its you.
    Do it man, do it.

I am still undecided. The car is in the barn right now untill I get the Soap Box Derby and my daughters 69 Camaro out of the way. BTW, How is your Dad? Haven't heard from him in a while. PM me with his phone number, I seem to have lost it. Made any progress on your 32 Sedan?
