Wow that is nice...what a great example of design follow-through to completion. Beautiful...just beautiful.
Thanks a lot for the photos. I really like it. You sure did squeeze a bunch of stuff into that little car! It has to be a handful to drive.
After having the roadster for sale for several years, I found a buyer in October. He is flipping the car, and it's listed at Barret-Jackson. Lot #73, it'll be sold on Tuesday, won't be on TV.
And that is really sad to hear. It may likely be bought up by some ***hole with more money than brains who will hide it away as an investment and we will likely never see it again for quite some time. #*&%#** Barret Jackson. Maybe I'll be wrong and someone who will drive the wheels off it will get it.
that combo pictures has really made me want to build my 31PU and 27 Modified in a matchn color combo to give it a team look. I dig that picture, both rides are really nice looking.
B-friggin-utiful, man what a "hot rod", all the louvered pans are amazing as are all the other important details. Sleeper deluxe to boot! Thanx for sharing with us. Zingo! ~sololobo~
Cool Beans! Will you be attending the LA Roadster Show on Father's Day? I hope to attend with my TR and I'd like a closer look at your T. Cheers, trakrodstr aka charlie
It never occurred to me to shoot any detail photos if it, and both vehicles have now been sold. Look at my post from 11/25/09, and you'll see two tabs welded to the front axle just inboard of the shocks. The wishbone/tow bar was bent inward and flattened at the wide end, and its two arms just bolt to the axle tabs. Of course it's free to swing up and down like a hinge, but any twist has to occur at the hitch ball. I still have the bar, if you're interested in buying it. Not this year (although it was there twice before) -- I sold it! You can see it at Barrett-Jackson later this month, if that's of any interest to you.
Bogus Bob Great to know guys like you are on the job. Nothing like an inconsiderate blowhard trying to artificially boost his post count with inconsequential drivel. Bring your right hand toward your face...now: flex your first, third and fourth fingers. trakrodstr
Um... I guess I am. Nice picture of the roadster, by the way. Setup day, Suede Palace, GNRS '09. Thanks!
I would like to take credit for the picture but I can't. It came from the web, some place. I thought it was great and couldn't resist. Sold them both to build ???? Ron
Sold the truck to finance the completion of this (which actually hasn't happened yet, but I'm sure you understand): Sold the roadster because (1) I didn't drive it much at all, (2) I didn't have garage space for six cars, and (3) it will take considerable swag to make this: ...into this. But it IS going to happen, and it's on its way:
