so in looking for front swap alternatives a few people have said to look into the jag xj swap since i was considering the volare swap. the same or less work and just about everyone says better than the volare. esp since you got r&p instead of that big old box sticking out.

the few things i haven't been able to find are track width of the jag and whether or not the r&p is power or not or did it vary over year and model?

i also have not found to many great tech articles on the subject if anyone has a link that would be great to. from what i have seen it looks like it's actually less fab work and welding than the volare swap. lots of folks seem to say it's a 10 hour or less swap. any truth to that?...ken....

    Buick Jag swap

from a few years back, I can measure later if need be. It's very hard to find a non-power rack. I can't see the swap being 10 hours, but then I measure a lot.

The Jag front sitting in the garage is 59 1/2" w/ no wheels on it.
So measure your front outside the drum to outside the drum.

I think I first saw a power rack on a Jag front end. There are some sites where you might get some options as to what is available in manual.
