Tractor grill shells

    To me, it just seems odd to put a grille/radiator shell on a car that's wider than the original- throws off the flow of the lines.

    One of the first radiator shells to be "retrofitted" was the Whippet- it was a perfect fit for the T as well as other cars of the time because it made the car look racier.

    Adding a wide/heavy tractor shell give the car a "Jimmy Durante" look- like it needs reconstructive surgery...

    True , some are very big,,but I have measured the Ford 8N grill width to many other early ford car grills,,they are about the same width

    As you can see from the above photos, the Ford Tractor 8N grill is almost as wide as a V8,,,they are narrow, not wide.
