i have been asked to post more pictures of the model A so here are a couple. Also pics of the rearend ,steering box,and i beam any info would be great.Look at the rear wheels, does the rearend look like its set back? There is a two carb eelco fuel log on the firewall but didnt get a close shot of it
Is the rear end set back you asked...It does look "off" for lack of a better term. Maybe it's the shape of the fender or something. The only way to know is to crawl under there and take a good look. Take a tape measure along while you are there. Maybe something isn't straight. Anyway, it's a good looking starting point for you.
I had someone here at the shop say the same thing about the axle. The drum brakes are def hydraulic 40's brakes. Ha ha ha how the hell are you gonna change your handle. It'll be odd to call yourself vintge41 now. Sell me the '36 PU!
i think im just gonna look for a engine and ****** and run it as is for a while.and whatever else i need to get it on the road.thanks for all the info
i have to build a floor then worry about the seat.im thinking bench seat, im not sure out of which car the bench would fit or be close
Middle seat of a dodge/plymouth/chrysler minivan. Leave the seat brackets in the junkyard, but take the bolts. It's a perfect fit, with or without the stock model A seat riser.
So life happened and I’m finally getting my coupe on the road 10 years later. The guys at Bruns kustom city are kicking **** and it should be on the road soon
Haven’t found anything on it , i feel like it hasn’t been in the road in 50 years . Seems like it was never finished but who really knows.
35 ford wires and firestone blackwalls installed and I gotta say it looks pretty bad***! Now we have a hot rod , dual carbs on and offy intake for the mercury flathead
