I traded my 80 Vette for a 56 Chevy Wagon. Do a search on here and you can see where I asked about trading. The Vette was cool and fun to drive but it was a common everyday Vette. The 56 Wagon is WAY cooler and more fun even though it needs a bunch of work. Plus, it gets a lot of attention when I am out with it and everyone seems to dig it. Good trade. You can always find another Vette if you ever wanted another. That is how I looked at it anyway.

Oooooooo. I'm a big fan of the Olds, '54-'57. Nice going on offing the vette and picking a sweet cl***y car.

I think most people on here would say good trade to getting the Olds. I owned a 55 Holiday and loved the car, however, I wouldn't have traded a clean '94 Vette for it though. That is a car you wouldn't really have a problem selling, and would bring more than they were asking for the Olds anyway. At least enough to get some nice caps/new WWWs and some steel rims! But, whatever makes ya happy!

It's been 20 years since I've owned a Vette. Do they still have the wave thing going??? The olds is nice, I think the Vettes lost it after 81-82 model year, no 83. The 84 up was too big imo.

You do not see too many 54 hard tops, so you did ok.
