Not a 57 Chevy, but from the same GM family. Still in the process, but..........

I like Bruce Morgan's 1961 Stock world ***le holder. Not much to it, a hot 283, 4-speed, chromies, and spring spacers in front.

Alternately, nose down with Raider Tri-Rib 5-spokes in the front, chrome-reverse wheels in back, and cheater slicks.

Either way, a set of gl*** packs and a hot engine: A 425-horse 409 would be cool in one.

I've always liked that Nomad with chrome reverses rather then with the Skylark wires.

Very very nice!! Just curious, when did blue opened rims go into effect? I'm just curious if it was just a purposeful color scheme (which it is very beautiful) or if it was actually a brief trend for a short time?

That's beautiful. Looks like it's got some pretty impressive neighbors in the garage too.

Sorry to dig up an old thread but I have been trying to find some info on the chopped white 57 with the stripes on post #15. I have done a ton of searching but this is the only pic of it that I can find. I am told that this car has a 57 Buick roof on it which is what I am planning for my wifes 57 this winter as well as a 2 inch chop. It was also told it appeared in an issue of Hot Rod magazine in '59 but not sure which month. Any info or other pics of this car would be great. Thanks, Ken.
