    one thing about flames, there are no rules, and everyone loves thier own style. thats hot rodding.

    in rodders journal ( # 12 i think) the car on the cover is a flat black sedan with coool traditional flames, and mexican seat covers

    My forty, flamed hood in the lower body color and then I used the oposite color on the rear as a color break.

    Yes, those flames on Itchy's duece roadster are perfect!

    I had not seen that car with the bias blackwalls and non-Merc caps, yet. Looks so much better.

    Oh, and there isn't a more perfect canvas for trad. flames than a '40 Ford. But you all knew that, already. God, I miss my old '40 (single tear trickles down cheek).

    Here are two more,........ my friend Jerry's daily driver 40 P.U.,..... and my buddy Dave's 34 Tudor,..... with flames on one side:cool: they both did there own flames and pinstripes.

  28. this is a beater $750 Olds that I added black and flames about 10 years ago. the Lakers were straight, 57 371 to an early 4 speed Hydro.
