Jim Nelson with his Masters Auto Supply roadster. Masters eventually morphed into Dragmaster when Jim teamed up with Dode Martin.

KRB Motors in Forest Street, Castlemaine. First car is Larry O'Toole's A Bucket. Larry produced Australian Street Rodding and Hot Rodding International magazines until his passing nearly 2 years ago. Behind Larry's A is Graham Williams T-bucket which was the cover car on #1 issue of ASR. Graham sold the car not long after but recently bought it back and re-built it. Pic taken during one of our Castlemaine Rods Inc rod run weekends.

AI generated? There is just so much wrong with it. "30 cowl band and gas cap. SoCal bullnose on rad shell. Funky headlight bar and bumper. Are those lugnuts on the wire wheel?

I don't doubt it, but why would someone go to all that trouble?

Well spotted. Also location of top door hinge, dropped headlight bar, no stainless band on back of grill shell, plus what is in the center of the bumper which also appears too short and straight as you noted.
