    Sure looks like Zelda, picture taken at the studio lot possibly ? ? But I can't pin that car to any DG episode. Looks like it has stay rods to the windshield frame which appears to be a cut up hard top. The way she is polishing that shift lever and knob brings to mind the reason Zelda was dropped from the series.

    Spot on @silent rick. was just about to type the story when I found your post. In Australia in the early 60's beer was only available to take away in big bottles. Then they introduced steel cans which held the same as the bottles. Eddie and I didn't drink so we used to pick up used cans off the road. Spot weld them together with the oxy and you had a cheap jackstand. Only problem was that you had to be careful lowering the car down as they were a tad delicate.
    That picture and the story got featured in a local hot rod mag many years ago.

    Warren Evan's Model A pick-up. Had flathead running gear and was built from a sport coupe. Got traded on a Holden sedan when he got married.
