Here they are again, this time after two of the local girls.

 

Heres my mothers uncle Hank. He was a "fancy fella " served in the war as a U.S. army cook and later became a personal butler and party/dinner planner in San Francisco. When i was 20 i visited him in 1974 . His other half Don was the organ player for the SF Giants at Candlestick Park. Quite a few free games for me from the organist sky-box. Don had a bloody big 2 door gold Thunderbird with 2 enormous crash bars on the front bumper. They were even bigger than on the cop cars.

 

Yes those two local girls were the girlfriends of the 2 blokes in the front seat of the tourer. The tourer is long gone and so are the girlfriends LOL Pic taken in the main street of Castlemaine, Vic

 

that might have been the -' style' issue-what the well dressed man on campus will be wearing--lee slacks, pendleton shirt.,etc.

 

Lots of Aussie Holdens in the background. Looks like a dark red early Bolwell back there as well.
