Jnaki I grew up in the San Fernando Valley. We had boats. Reseda Park had a couple dozen self propelled boats. They were not very fast but as a 12 year old it was so much fun. They built the lake in the middle 50s and the boats came shortly after, and lasted about 10 years. Liability issues I suppose.

If you had a chance to see any of Tony's cars you know that all were works of art. Tony did all his own work, fabrication, paint, upholstery, ect. The word he used most when describing his cars was sanitary.
