This image is backwards, which means the car in the near background is actually #88.

 

Holly Hedrich’s Modified Roadster started out at the dry lakes and later ran at the drags for years. Holly worked for Schiefer Clutch.



Here’s a later (and maybe the last) version, the car had a long life..

 

I was wondering about the red street roadster too, so I did some searching. With long square tube traction bars, I thought it might have been an early version of the Dorman/Koopman car but it’s not. Nothing came up as far as 1964 National Champion. I went through George Kl***’ street roadster section but nothing. I did find another picture of it racing but no caption or info.
Admittedly, my internet sleuthing skills are negligible. I just like old racing Street Roadsters.

 

@bchctybob here’s the same ch***is and the style of the lettering looks the same too but the engine, body and cl*** were changed at some point to run C/SR.
The starter’s sun shield behind the car looks like the strip is National Trail Raceway in Ohio.

 

And speaking of Koopman & Dorman here’s their AA/SR painted green, this was 1967 (?) when the NHRA mandated original styled fenders. Looks as though they were worried a little, that’s some front fender brace!
