Those rear tires sure wouldn't get you out of the bowl at Sandlake!

I love this pic every time it gets posted. Is that 2 lexan bubbles for the roof? or am I just imagining things?

    Yes -- you're right.

Also -- you atta check out the seats -- very unusual (and comfortable) looking lawn chairs we called them. The car was dead gorgeous and maintained for years by Dick Patterson. It won lots of shiny things, and Dick was a wonderful guy, too.

Dick told me much later that it was pretty fast, but he thought it wouldn't beat the kid with the Enderle/Hydro/Cyclone red roadster. Who knows?

Jeff Beck bought this coupe in the 1970’s, he paid $3495. I wonder if it was still in his collection when he passed.

This T Phaeton was built in ‘46-‘47 by Tom Hynes and it’s still in the family, now owned by Rod Hynes who was a fuel altered racer. It had a Model B running a Miller head when first built, then a V8 60, a 296” flatty, 265, Tempest four and under Rod’s ownership it runs a V8 60.
