if your on a shoe string budget like me your always looking to save a buck or two.. nice sets of trad. headlights are getting pretty expensive these days, the other option is some cheapies from speedway, they have 50s style dietz knock offs for 50bucks i think. but if you pickup a volkswagon magazine you will find the exact same thing for around 15 bucks they use them for buggies, its just the bucket with the pigtail and hardware ,no bulb, they also have some places with 39 tailights for around 25.00 a pair, also old style radio antennas ...some of you might have caught on to this but for thosae who havent it might save you a few$

  8. hahahahahahaha......i never thought of you as inspired (just kidding)..but you do have lot's of raw talent. at your age (26?)..i was lucky to keep my dirt bike running, and now at 51....i've built 25-30 cars that i feel damm proud of...... the last car i finished (`32 roadster) was invited to the sacramento autorama show by blackie himself...(he chased us down at BTT50's)....that just makes me wunder what YOU will be able to accomplish in your rod building career. eric, it's all in front of you...i know you can be one of the best, you could put us all to shame if you wanted to. i'm gonna be real honest here and tell you that i feel sometimes your attitude gets in the way, just don't let it...you have nothing to prove to me or anyone else.... you have to do it for yourself. money ,or the lack of it has nothing to do with success. you have all you need to be on top

i guess i rambled on too much..,,,,
