Traditional, or traditional styled?

I'm collecting parts for my AV8 build and have been hunting down a transmission. I have plans on using a 52 flathead coupled to a t5 and a 40 banjo open rear. The wish bones will be split and the car will keep a basically stock appearance with 16" k/h wheels and juice brakes. Would this build still be considered a traditional hot rod or would it be traditional styled because of the t5?

It would probably fall on the styled side of the line. But does it really mater? I like t5s & no one really sees the trans. You could run the 3sp od that would have been born behind the flaty

So lose the t5 and put in ?? What would be a good trans to use? I can get a 3 speed top loader that's for an open shaft, but. I really don't care much for 3 spds....

Definitely a traditional styled car,,split bone and T-5 but there is noting wrong with building your car that way. HRP

yea, I think im just going with the t5, once i find one anyway. To me it seems it would be a much better driver and im not one to juts let it sit around waiting for shows. Heck ive been driving the stock a around every day since i got it, to and from work, to the store, whatever. Its just lost of fun to drive even if it is a bit wobbley.
