I am not sure that this is a T bucket but nor am I sure that man of the cars on here are either.

This little car has a new steel hand made body,I made the body for this car ten years ago at least. It was built several years before that with a 'glass body and was featured in both UK and American mags.

Can't place the Weesner Frankinstain car. Can somebody post it? It's hard to make a real car look as kool as a kartoonish version. The artist can take artistic license that a builder has trouble duplicating. For instance some of the chrome wheels on Weesners drawings look to be narrow 16s or even 18s and if you don't go with those you loose the whole effect. I'm not trying to discourage you but just pointing these things out.

No Rebel, I hear ya! Trying to duplicate an artist renedering exactly is kinda an impossible task. This particular painting though seemed to be a bit different for Weesner in that it was more "to scale" than most he does... Or at least in my mind it was. It was packaged in one of the "Mad Fabricators" discs a few years back (#3?). I'll have to P.M. Evel and see if he can post it, 'cause it is cool!

 

I was wondering what car you were talking about too. Now that you said it though, I have that little card out of the MFS dvd. I like T buckets. I have a perimeter frame I might try to do something with one day.

 

Wimbledon white is my favorite color. It has some life to it. I love all the '59/'60/'61 era show rods and definitely all of Mr. Weezners art. My frame/firewall/parts/etc.. are wimbleton. the engine will be gold and the body will match this 1959 western electric phone.. It's not a T but I dunno, I love wimbleton

 

That color reminds me of one they called sea foam green, and it looks at home on easter eggs

Got your back on that one Dreddy Bear. I love turquoise, and seafoam colors too. Always have. I was kinda sorry that it was one of the more popular colors of the '80s, 'cause that's all people think of when you say turquoise. 'Course, I had this '61 Karmann Ghia that was all bright turquoise back then...

The Torquoise or Aqua off a '54 Chebby was popular in my area around '60.

Wimbledon White, for sure 1965 Ford Mustang Factory color.....restored a few of them that color....

I just love '50 Ford steering wheels....cant imagine why....nice coupe btw

Love your color choice. Takes balls, and very late fifties. I have always wanted to build a channeled, fenderless, Rudy-esque t coupe in that color.

Edit: When I say "Rudy-esque", I mean Rudy as in Heredia, not as in poupester...

 

Sea Mist Turquoise is nearly a dead 'ringer' for that phone match-up. It will be a good combination. Rudy R. is still a ruler.

 

When I was in high school we called the turq or light blue and white cars "Blue Angels".

I've posted this picture before . Hopefully not on this thread This has been one one of my favorite late '50s Ts since I first saw it in the Mag and bought it off the stand. I like the way it sits and just the overall look.

 

I tried to keep mine fairly traditional.

 

There's plenty of room in a T roadster for a tiny communist driver! (Saw this in the swap at Bako, it was cracking me up!)
