Wasn't there somebody on here that was going to start making an adapter for mopar flathead six to attach an s-10 5 speed manual tranny? Just wondered I haven't seen anything lately or if anybody has any info on adapting a later model 5 speed overdrive to one please chime in. Thanks
"73RR" here on the Board is Q.E.C. He has the adaptors for the flat 6, not sure what tranny. Send a PM, think he posted he was going to be out of town for the Holidays, but he should be able to fix you up!
Thanks George, yup leaving soon! Merry Christmas to all!! There are a couple of folks making adapters for the t5 to the Plymouth bellhousing, just not me...yet Over on the p15 site there is a swap using the Ford Ranger/Mazda 5-speed and it appears to be pretty simple and no 'adapter' as such, required. You might look at it. My adapter mounts the 904 TF or the small block manual bellhousing like an AX5 or AX15 type 5-speed. My adapter replaces the stock bellhousing. Some pics on the web site. .
I don't have anything but the posts visible........after you read the same line or signature 20 x, it irratates/bores the hell out of me.The worst ones are the guys that use it to advertise.....like a certain metal bending vendor.
From 77RR Re: Over on the p15 site there is a swap using the Ford Ranger/Mazda 5-speed and it appears to be pretty simple and no 'adapter' as such, required. You might look at it. Can't get anything to come up on the P15-D24 site relevant to a 5 speed swap, no matter what I put in their search feature. Someone who is privvy to the link, will you please post it up, as I don't want to reinvent the wheel, and I WILL be doing this conversion soon. I will hit up 77RR for the link, but he said he was out of town so... Thanks
