tranny swap

I have a 1955 first series chevy 3100 truck. It has a 235 stright six with a 3 speed manual. I would like to change it to a five speed. Any easy swaps out there?

define "easy"

 

would like to use the exsisting bellhousing due to the built in frame mounts.

 

Mostly easy, swap in a T-5. Few items to trip you up. Search and you will find the details.
