Technical Tranny yard ornament

Bought this transmission from a guy who said it was setting out in the yard forever and he didn't know what it was from. Part of his dad's estate and there was a 41 Ford panel also undercover.
Couldn't p*** on the $15.00 price.
I thought it was a 1938-39 and didn't notice it was open drive line until looking at it closer after getting it home.
Guessing it's a 41-52 truck. *88RC-43544*
Doesn't seem to have a place for the speedometer.
Any idea on the year?

 

Does it turn at all? You won't have to salvage much to get you$15 back!
