This weekend, hopefully tomorrow, after work, I am gonna throw my trans in (not with engine, just set on jackstands and in the mount/crossmember) to set my pedal ***em back up and start to think of fabbing my trans tunnel. Any suggestions? I have seen the oil drums thing on an angle, but that freaks me out a little. I guess just hand rolled/formed shells with 1 inch 90s for rivits? Suggestions, pics, ideas, and all of that good stuff.

I made a pattern out of 1/8" rod I could form and tack weld and then fibergl***ed it on both sides.

There are a lot of really nice tunnels ****tered all over the HAMB. Here is one I made for my model A. 16ga. with a 12 ga. flange.

  10. Back when I was building my '27 I got the floor in and needed a tunnel. I looked around and spied the trash can in the corner. A small 13 gal. kitchen size with exactly the shape I needed. I slathered one side in Vaseline and started layering on the resin and mat. Took all of about 2 hours start to finish and I had a tunnel that looked like factory made and cost about $20 in materials. Quick, cheap and easy, you gotta love it.
