   i have a 77 gmc royal sierra and its an auto, i would like to put a 5 speed in it and i found a cheap one out of a 99 gmc sierra. i was wondering would the newer******* fit in the royal sierra?

   It's s straight bolt in provided your using an S10 front clip and the 40' Ford cable adapter.
   It's flat black right?
