Transmission Question PLEASE HELP!

I have a 54 chevy and I switched out the rear end to a 10 bolt to work better with my air ride system. I am keeping the 235 but I have to switch out the transmission to work with the new rear end. I have a later model power glide out of a 68 chevy. Will the transmission bolt up to my 235 or will I need an adaptor? If I need an adaptor where can I get one? Will the origional starter work? Any advice would be great.

 

You will need an adapter. Can't remember the name of the company that has them.
