Does anyone know of a shop or individual that you recommend to rebuild a 1936 Ford three speed transmission in Southern California? I drained the fluid from the transmission and had two gear teeth drop into the pan. No idea how bad it really is yet. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!
Call The Early Ford Store in San Dimas, 909-305-1955. Talk to Bill or Michael and ask for a recommendation. You could also call Dan Krehbiel in Temecula at 951-302-5922. Dan is the So Cal Columbia expert and could help point you in the right direction. He doesn't work on transmissions but knows who does. Good luck, The FOGGER

Thanks so much. Astromotive does not do the 3 speed transmissions so I followed up on some of the other leads. Fogger: I called Dan who was very helpful. He put me in contact wiuth a local guy he likes. I never got ahold of Bill at Early Ford (he was out of the office). I'll keep trying and talk to all before I decide. I appreciate everyones help. What a killer group this is. Thanks so much.
Adrian, Thanks for your call the other day. I am looking forward to helping you out with your 36 Roadster trans. Talk to you this weekend. Greg
