Transmission Shop In Indianapolis

I have a FMX that I think I need rebuilt...Does any one know of a good in Indianapolis, IN that will does good trans rebuild work? How much do you think it will cost?

I don't know of any good shops but stay away from AJ's

 

I used Central Transmission on 106th Street between Michigan and Zionsville Road in Zionsville. Really great guys to work with and they actually do rebuilds and not just put in someone elses rebuild. Seemed to really know there stuff, did mine 30K ago on daily driver and no problems. Not cheap, but cheaper than the national chains and delaers.

 

I always use Kenny's in Greenwood. They have been around for years and know their way around old stuff. Their prices are very competitive as well.

 

Try Bradleys about 35th and Shadeland, not cheap but treated me right.

 

This is a little far away, but Steve Morrow near Spencer IN is a top notch transmission builder and hot rodder. Call him at 800-816-7837.

He's worked on transmissons for me for years and we bought a 700R4 for our 51 Merc from him.
