I just swapped a tri five chevy rear into my 53 Belair. The rear had no brake parts at all when I got it, other than the backing plates. I ordered a kit from RockAuto that I thought would have everything I needed. The hardware kit makes no since to me(it is nothing like the original layout) and the shoes have equal length linings. Does anyone have a diagram on how this hardware goes together or do I have the wrong parts? Also, is the equal length linings going to be a problem? Thanks!

The lighter colored lining is the primary and normally shorter but since they have fit the shoes to the new drums it should be o.k. Plus it’s not as critical since it is rear brakes...

  5. I think I've got a bag full of the right parts for the rear. It will cost you shipping if want it.
